What are aligners?
Aligners are transparent, translucent splints that enable the correction of misaligned teeth and jaws. A digital simulation of the desired result is used to calculate the small intermediate steps required and the aligners are then produced personally for you.
How long does a treatment last?
Simple treatments last between 3 and 9 months, medium treatments between 9 and 18 months and more complex treatments up to 24 months.
What is the difference to braces ?
Aligners are removable, so you can eat and drink comfortably and as usual. Braces have bonded brackets and interchangeable archwires.
And those little studs on the teeth?
These are called attachments and are glued on to match the tooth colour and are recommended or even necessary for complex tooth movements.
How often should the aligners be worn?
Aligners should be worn for 20 – 22 hours a day so that tooth movements can be carried out efficiently and gently.
Start now with the transparent aligners from INVISALIGN, SPARK or ANGEL ALIGNER in a modern and digital treatment world!
Why do I recommend INVISALIGN?
INVISALIGN has been used to successfully treat 18 million patients worldwide for over 25 years. I have been a certified user for 20 years and, as a Diamond user, I am always impressed by the many possibilities that INVISALIGN offers for everyone, children, adolescents and adults alike, even in more complex situations.
SPARK and ANGEL ALIGNER are other product names from other manufacturers that I am just as enthusiastic about and, depending on the treatment sequence, can offer advantages over INVISALIGN. We recommend and select the most efficient aligner system for your treatment.
The perfect fit and, above all, the soft aligners with memory-shape effect result in a very gentle and extremely pleasant treatment. The aligners are changed every 7 days.
The effectiveness and above all the reliability of the tooth movements simulated in advance with a 3D scan inspire me and all our patients time and time again and confirm our choice of treatment day after day!
